Sixteen years of building software that has to work for a living, one mobile game, and then this. By day I ship serious systems with a straight face; bet is what I build when I let the straight face drop. I wrote the spec, handed the keyboard to an AI, let it argue with the compiler instead of with me, and kept whatever passed the tests. What passed happened to be a compiler with a self-hosted front end and a port of DOOM, both written in bet. For the record, I finish what I start, and this one is finished.
